There is plenty of blame to go about for the Dallas Cowboys’ shocking 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but Dak Prescott summed up his performance pretty succinctly.

“I sucked tonight,” he told journalists after the game. “And that’s it.”

Prescott, who fell to 2-5 in the postseason in his career, threw for 403 yards on 60 pass attempts when tossing three touchdowns but also two interceptions in the wonderful half that the Packers turned into 14 points, counting a pick-six in the second quarter to put Green Bay up 27-0.

“Frustrated…from my play. The way we came out here and started this game just frightened, honestly,” Prescott added. “From the beginning of the game we got beat. No way about it, no way to sugarcoat it. … Shocked.”

The loss will turn the attention toward head coach Mike McCarthy, whose job appears to be in jeopardy following the embarrassing performance.

However, Prescott believes he should be the one shouldering much of the blame pretty than his head coach.

“[McCarthy]’s been amazing. I don’t know how there can be [doubt around his future] but I understand the business,” Prescott said. “But in that case, it must be about me as well.

“I’ve had the season that I’ve had because of him. This team’s had the failed that they’ve had because of him. I understand that it’s around winning the Super Bowl. That’s the standard of the targeted, and damn sure the standard of this place. I get it but add me to the list in that case.”
