Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott received plenty of criticism in 2022 when he led the NFL with 15 interceptions in the odd season despite missing five games with a broken thumb. It didn't make matters any better for the top signal-caller in Dallas when he threw two more in a second-round playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Fast onward to the 2023 campaign, Prescott had another stinker in contradiction of the 49ers in Week 5 when he tossed three interceptions in a 42-10 blowout loss, and the criticism rang out across the football landscape once against. However, Prescott had an amazing turnaround in his eighth year in the pros when that defeat. He embarked on an eight-game stretch where he passed 23 touchdowns with just two interceptions. Prescott was surgical in the Cowboys' last three games as well, tossing another eight touchdowns with only two interceptions.

For the year, Prescott made good on his proclamation to border his interception totals from the previous season as he over up with only nine, and any year where a quarterback throws 10 interceptions or less is removed excellent. Prescott's 36 touchdown passes led the NFL, and that total is necessary. Why? Well, with this complete 180 from a year ago, Prescott complete the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era, and just the additional in league history joining Hall of Famer Bob Waterfield in 1945-1946, to go from leading the league in interceptions to throwing the most touchdowns in conventional seasons.

The former fourth-round pick had the best movement of his career this season. His 36 touchdowns touchdowns and 4,516 yards (third in the NFL) were the second-most Prescott has tallied in those categories. Prescott set a career-high in passer rating with 105.9, which was good for second in the league as was his 4:1 interception review. Also, Prescott finished second in QBR (72.6), and his career-high 69.5% completion percentage was the second-best league-wide.

Prescott was rewarded for his amazing season with his third Pro Bowl selection last week, and it got even better on Friday as he received his qualified All-Pro honor (second-team). Prescott has proved that he's one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL.
